Adding a Quick poll to a discussion message can quickly gather a consensus of opinion by providing an easy way for users to respond to questions; they can be on any topic and can be setup to run for a certain period of time. You can choose a select-one or select-many type question for your quick poll.
To create a quick poll:
- When creating a discussion in a forum, tick the Quick poll box.
- You can then enter your question, the possible answers and select the close date.
- Click Save.
The quick poll is included in the email notification, along with a link to answer it.
The quick poll results are available when viewing the message in the workspace.
