If you have forgotten your Kahootz password, you can reset it by following the steps below.

Reset your password

  1. Go to the login page for your Kahootz site

  2. Click the "Forgot your password?" link beneath the password field

  3. Enter your registered email address

  4. Complete the user validation security check

  5. Click "Check Details"

Once you submit the form, you will see a confirmation screen.

If the email address you entered is registered on the Kahootz site, you will receive an email with a link to set a new password.

If the email address is not registered, you will still receive an email notification.

For security reasons, Kahootz does not indicate on screen whether an email address is registered. This prevents unauthorised users from identifying valid accounts.

Troubleshooting

Entered the wrong email address?
If you have multiple email addresses, ensure you are using the one registered with Kahootz.

Account inactive or removed?
Some site owners remove inactive users to free up licences. If you believe your account has been removed, contact your site owner to request access. Kahootz Support cannot restore these accounts.

Not received the reset email?

  • Check your junk or spam folder

  • If the email is not there, contact your IT team for assistance

  • If the issue persists, contact Kahootz Support
