Adding a Quick poll to a discussion message can quickly gather a consensus of opinion by providing an easy way for users to respond to questions; they can be on any topic and can be setup to run for a certain period of time.  You can choose a select-one or select-many type question for your quick poll.

To create a quick poll:

1. When creating a discussion in a forum, tick the Quick poll box.
   
2. You can then enter your question, the possible answers and select the close date.
3. Click Save.

The quick poll is included in the email notification, along with a link to answer it. 

The quick poll results are available when viewing the message in the workspace.
